Some of Selena Gomez’s followers started to question her loyalty to longtime friend Raquelle Stevens after the release of the My Mind & Me documentary.
A close friend of Selena Gomez named Raquelle Stevens has some information that the whole public should know.
Three months after the release of the singer’s My Mind & Me documentary, which highlighted the film Selena’s affiliation with the Sunshine Mind author, Raquel is now responding to criticism.
“Anytime you do anything public in life, you’re susceptible to the opinions of other people,” Raquelle said on the Chicks in the Office podcast episode from February 3. The documentary Selena so bravely shared with the world was great and magnificent, but the thing that struck me the most was her ability to handle criticism.
The now-30-year-old lady said of the documentary, “It was her life narrative, and part of what was included in that movie was our friendship, which is fantastic, and it’s honest, and it’s true.”
When fans weren’t pleased with Raquelle’s condescending and dominating behavior toward them, they took their complaints online soon after the film’s release in November 2022.
But there’s more to Raquelle and the Selena + Chef star than meets the eye when it comes to their relationship.
She thought it was a good reminder that what you see on social media or in documentaries is only a glimpse into someone’s life. Truly, I am eternally grateful that our friendship has lasted this last decade.
She stated, “I appreciate honesty in my life and I think it is amazing that Selena enjoys honesty in her friendships, which I also find to be vital to observe.”
Raquelle claims she has an “inner serenity that is incredibly unbreakable” and hence can easily disregard the criticism.
“When your inner life is solid and you are living a life with integrity, you sleep soundly every night,” she explained. I have faith in who I am because I know that living an honest life brings peace regardless of the challenges you face. I know who I am and what kind of buddy I make. Anyone may indeed say whatever they want, but I wouldn’t mind.
