Tom Brady, who has won seven Super Bowls, put an end to rumors about him coming back to the NFL in the best way possible.

At 45 years old and twice out of the NFL, former Patriots quarterback Tom Brady responded on Twitter Tuesday to a report from NFL Network’s Rich Eisen. Eisen said on his radio show that he heard rumors that Brady had talked to the Miami Dolphins about a possible NFL comeback while at the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis.

Eisen said that the people of Miami should be watched carefully.

But Brady says we shouldn’t jump to any conclusions just yet.

Anyone who thinks I’ll be back in the NFL soon has never given their two-month-old child a cat as a pet. Tuesday, Brady sent out a few tweets.

Benjamin, who is 13, and Vivian, who is 10, are Brady and his ex-wife Gisele Bündchen’s children. Brady has a 15-year-old son named Jack with his ex-girlfriend Bridget Moynahan.

After a successful three-year run with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, where he won his seventh Super Bowl in 2020, Brady said he was retiring “for real” on February 1. Brady told his fans about the news in a short but sincere tweet.

“I want to get right down to business. With everything I’ve done, I think it’s time for me to stop working and enjoy my retirement.” The man with three kids said what he thought. “I knew that doing the process again would be a big problem, so I decided to just hit a record this morning and let you all know. I’ll try to be brief and to the point. I had the chance to write a moving piece about leaving my job last year, but I blew it.”

At first, Brady planned to retire at the beginning of 2022. However, a few months later, he changed his mind.

When he decided to stop being retired in 2022, it seemed to hurt his personal life. In October 2022, it was confirmed that Brady and Bündchen were no longer together.

Entertainment Tonight said at the time that Bündchen was “devastated,” but that “Tom and Gisele love each other, but Gisele knew she had to put herself and her family ahead of football.”
