Oscar winner Ben Affleck has grown more private after he made headlines with comments about his ex-wife Jennifer Garner over a year ago. Please let him elaborate here.

After being disappointed by his 15 minutes of fame, Ben Affleck now takes a new strategy.

The Justice League actor is thinking back to a trying time in his life when he was misunderstood for remarks he made regarding his marriage to Jennifer Garner.

In a March 16 cover story for The Hollywood Reporter, Affleck discussed why he avoids Instagram and is cautious of interviews: “I had a really painful experience where I did an interview where I was vulnerable,” and “the entire pickup was something that was not only not right, it was the opposite of what I meant.”

On Howard Stern’s show in December 2021, Affleck was candid about his struggles with alcoholism and the end of his marriage with Jennifer Garner, with whom he had three children, Violet, 17, Seraphina, 14, and Samuel, 11.

Even though the Gone Girl star left the interview feeling happy at first, his comments soon became the focus of media attention. “That I dared to attribute my drinking to my spouse. My actions are solely my responsibility, “Ben Affleck revealed as much to THR. “My intended argument was a somber one. The calculation of, How much do we try? is something anybody who has gone through a divorce does.”

After 10 years of marriage, Affleck and Garner, both 50, announced their separation in 2015.

“We had a deep affection for one another. Every one of us is concerned about others’ well-being. One another is held in high regard “Observed, as he put it. “I wanted to convey the message that “Hey, look, I was drinking too much, and the less happy you get, whether it’s your work or your marriage, it’s simply that as your life becomes more difficult, if you’re doing things to fill a hole that aren’t healthy, you’ll start doing more of them.” To that end, I believe I expressed myself well.”

The director of Argo continued by saying that his remarks to Stern were “misrepresented to make it clickbait, and then everybody else took it up, and no matter how many times I repeated, “I do not feel this way,” they wouldn’t listen. I swear to you, I don’t drink because of my divorce. Well, then. It’s not easy.”
