Britney Spears’s private nature differs greatly from her public image. The singer’s 2013 documentary, I Am Britney Jean, was directed by Fenton Bailey, who claimed as much during an interview with SiriusXM’s Radio Andy.
Bailey said to host Andy Cohen, “Because of ‘Oops, I Did It Again’ or ‘Slave 4 U,’ we think she’s just, like, [a] fired up sex strumpet.
”That’s not who she is,” he said. She may be outgoing on stage, but off it she’s a total introvert. “I’m just a normal, boring person,” she keeps repeating.
Spears’ rumored wedding to Sam Asghari has prompted Bailey’s remarks. After exchanging vows in June 2022, Spears and Asghari have both been seen publicly without their wedding bands.
Despite the rumors that surfaced after Asghari ditched the ring, he joked about it and his representative assured ET that “Sam is not having marital issues.” Because he was in the middle of filming, he took off his ring.
According to an ET insider in February, Spears has “struggled with drugs over the years,” and her loved ones have recently become so worried about her health that they are planning an intervention. The intervention was reportedly called off once Spears learned about it, as reported by TMZ.
Spears wrote on Instagram, “As my hubby says it best: don’t believe everything you read!!! ” in response to the rumors.
