They will have a baby and be a family of four with Nikki Reed and Ian Somerhalder. Both Vampire Diaries actors have shared the news that they expect their second child together.

The Twilight actress accompanied the words with a photo of herself holding Bodhi, the couple’s 5-year-old daughter, atop her pregnant belly.
On his personal Instagram, Somerhalder shared the same image. From the moment I was a little child, all I’ve ever desired was a huge family,” he wrote. “That was generous of you, Nik. At the end of their respective captions, the parents asked their followers to give them space while they started a family. Reed stated, “As you all know, I have extreme limits with social media, especially with children and what I choose to put out into the world.” “Please accept my deepest gratitude for remembering that and for giving your best wishes, compassion, and LOVE. Forget about keeping it to yourself; some things are just too nice.”
Somerhalder also wrote a letter along these lines. His only request was for good wishes for his partner, Nik, and himself at this challenging time. “The social sphere might be weird, but we can transform it into a fantastic one if we work together.”
Reed and Somerhalder married in 2015 after meeting on the set of The Vampire Diaries. They had Bodhi in July 2017 but haven’t said much about their family since then. Somerhalder told People in August 2022 that he and Reed had relocated their family to a farm in the San Fernando Valley.
