The mother and son spent an evening together on March 5 watching the Los Angeles Lakers play the Golden State Warriors. They were seen smiling while sitting courtside and watching the game.
Jennifer, who has a son who is 11 and two daughters who are 14 and 17 with her ex-husband Ben Affleck, wore a gray sweater and skinny black jeans for the event. Samuel, on the other hand, wore a blue Steph Curry hoodie to show his support for the Warriors’ best player.
Samuel thinks it’s a slam dunk to spend time with his parents and watch a basketball game. In December, the 11-year-old and his dad were seen sitting courtside at the Crypto.com Arena to watch Ben’s Boston Celtics play the Los Angeles Lakers.
Samuel’s nights out with each parent come at a time when the Affleck family is going through a lot of changes. Ben and Jennifer split up in 2015, and their divorce was finalized in 2018. In July, Ben married Jennifer Lopez. The “Let’s Get Loud” singer has nothing but good things to say about how her husband and the 13 Going on 30 star raise their kids together.
J.Lo told Vogue in December that Ben and Jen “work well together.” Since then, Jen has found love with businessman John Miller.
Ben told The Howard Stern Show in 2021 that he still loves and respects his ex-wife, even though they are no longer together.
