Doja Cat is up to her old tricks: creating a ruckus. The 27-year-old “Woman” singer is no stranger to making headlines with her bold style choices, and she didn’t fail to do so on Sunday when she debuted her outfit for the 2023 GRAMMY Awards.

Doja looked fierce in a black latex one-shoulder Versace gown with long gloves to protect her arms. Doja sported the dark cat eye makeup and black pixie cut that accompanied her stage moniker, as well as the thick black spiral earrings that completed the ensemble.

She posted an Instagram photo of herself wearing the dress and tagging Versace before she walked the red carpet.

In response, Donatella Versace gushed, “MAJOR gorgeousness.”

The singer Normani praised her as well, writing, “Aghhhhhhhhh. That’s just too fantastic to be true.”

Doja’s five-hour, a 30,000-Swarovski-crystal-covered crimson ensemble at Paris Fashion Week last month made headlines, so it’s no surprise that she’d turn heads again in a similar outfit at this year’s awards presentation.

Doja (actual name: Amala Ratna Zandile Dlamini) is up for five Grammys this year.

She’s up for Record of the Year, Best Pop Solo Performance, and Best Music Video for her song “Woman.” Her performance of “Vegas” is up for Best Rap Performance at the Grammys. Additionally, the song “I Like You (A Happier Song)” they recorded along with Post Malone is competing for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance.

The top-charting musician has been to the Grammys three times before (2022, 2021, and this year), performing during the 2021 ceremony. Doja has been nominated for a GRAMMY this year, making it his 11th total nomination.
